Cilaosaventure is an office of guides specialized in canyoning in Reunion. For over 20 years, our team of state -certified professionals has made you discover the most beautiful canyons on the island, safely.
Whether you are a beginner, an experienced amateur or sportsman, we offer outings adapted to all levels. On the program: Recalls on rope, jumps (always optional), natural slides, swimming in lively water and exploration of exceptional landscapes.
Thanks to its unique volcanic geography, Reunion is a world -renowned spot for canyoning. With more than 300 canyons listed, the island offers essential sites such as yellow flower, red arms, white hole, Langevin, Takamaka or the legendary iron hole.
Our outings take place mainly in Cilaos, Salazie, Langevin, the Plaine des Palmistes and the Bélouve forest. Whether you are looking for an extreme adventure or a fun family descent, Cilaosaventure guides you in the heart of the most spectacular canyons in Reunion.

Bras rouge est un canyon ludique et aquatique! Ce canyon se situe au coeur du cirque de Cilaos. Il prend sa source dans l'ancien cratère du Piton des Neiges. Des rappels de 25m max, des sauts, de gros toboggans et des couleurs surprenantes!

Rivière Langevin
La descente de la Rivière Langevin est par définition une initiation de la progression en rivière. C'est une belle succession de petites cascades, avec des toboggans et sauts allant jusqu'à 8 mètres, tyrolienne et rappel guidé, rappel de 12 mètres maximum, en aval de la cascade Langevin, au sud de la réunion.

What is canyoning?

The canyoning is an outdoor activity consisting of going down the bed of a conceded river, called canyon, alternating different progression techniques:
- Reminder on rope
- jumps in natural (always optional) basins
- Sliding on natural slides
- Live water swim
- Tyrolean, steps and de -escalades
Most canyons also require an approach march in the mountains and a return to a panoramic setting, in the heart of the luxuriant landscapes of Reunion.
The canyoning combined sport, adventure, and immersion surrounded by nature, accessible at different levels, from beginner to confirmed sportsman.
Are jumps compulsory?

No, jumps are never mandatory in canyoning.
All jump areas have safe alternatives: reminder, bypass or suitable passage. You always progress at your own pace, under the supervision of your state -certified guide.

Who can participate in a canyoning outing?

Our courses are adapted to different profiles, provided you know how to swim
- Beginner/family: from 10 years old
- intermediary: Correct physical condition, water taste
- Sports/expert: good endurance, search for sensations
Before each outing, a complete briefing allows you to adapt the progress to the group.
What material is provided for canyoning?

All technical equipment is included: Insothermal neoprene combination
- Safety helmet
- Baudrier with lanes and descender
- Special canyon backpack (if necessary)
- Waterproof can for your belongings
to be provided by the participant:
- Bathroom
- Closed sports shoes with good sole (trail or hike)
- Water bottle (minimum 1 liter)
- Clothing and towel to change
Can we wear glasses?

Yes, but with precautions: Glasses with highly recommended support cord
- Avoid value glasses
- Possibility of storing them in a box slipped under the combination
- Single -use flexible lenses are also an effective solution
Do you provide a canyon backpack?

Yes, for outings where it is necessary, we provide a robust backpack adapted to the aquatic environment, allowing to transport collective or personal equipment safely.

no. Transport is not supported .
