In the heart of the Bélouve forest, Takamaka is one of the most beautiful canyons on the island but above all the most complete!.
After 5 minutes of approach we arrive at the first broken 70m, left bank Soft departure & progressive descent with shower and spider thread! Full gas right bank, with sports departure and all the dry and spider wire ...
We can distinguish in the distance the snake route of the canyon ... 800m of walking in the blocks separate from the 2nd broken ... This walk is behind in the timing ... You have to be comfortable on this ground, jumping from blocks in blocks is always faster than desecalader/reescalader ...
We arrive at the 2nd broken 170m high that we pass in 3 relays - 35/95/30m
Another long walk in the blocks up to a big jump from 8 to 13m. A little jungle before arriving at the "dining room, at the entrance to the 3rd and last big broken ... handrail with an approach 18m, then equipped right next to the asset a large 55m which leads to the" mini hole "and its basin (Loch Ness style!) With waves of almost a high meter, where we have to swim to the bank opposite.
A good jump (not compulsory), and let's go for a festival of 6-8 broadband slides! Large slides, jumps from living water, to the largest slide on the island (to my knowledge!) This canyon in 1 day is aimed at people in very good physical condition, at ease in walking in the blocks, a little daredevil, and above all not having too much vertigo !! (2 days quieter with bivouac and grill)
Technical sheet: Reminder 70 - 170 - 55, 7 or 8 large slides and some jumps. ~ 2 hours of intensive hike

La remontée se fait par un petit sentier cabris (échappatoire), bien raide avec des passages à cordes où il faut s'assurer.
Cette montée ne demande pas d'effort cardio car on monte doucement, mais elle est physique car on tire autant sur les bras que sur les jambes.La fin de la marche retour se fait par l'arête faut y croire, ambiance varappe/montagne qui vous laissera au moins autant de souvenirs que le rappel de 55m ! L'arrivée se fait sur la route, à 200m des voitures.;
